Customer Reviews: Best Chocolate Maker in the U.S. March 9, 2009 Paul Wake (Utah) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is really good chocolate. Not the best in the world (that would be Amedei), but definitely the best made in the United States. That said, it obviously costs some money, and it won't taste like the milk chocolate bars at the grocery store. It may be a bit of an acquired taste. Good, though--let it sit on the tongue and wait for it.
Mmm... Ocumare March 16, 2009 Kendall P. Oei (Concord, CA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I came across the Chocolate made with Ocumare chocolate at Trader Joe's. Since TJ no longer carries it, I had to look for another chocolate that uses the same beans. There is a huge difference in buying chocolate made with Ocumare, especially when you're talking dark chocolate. The Amano Artisan Chocolate, made with Ocumare, is a bit of heaven! I'm only giving it 4 stars for the price. It's a small bar for the price... but then it's an artisan chocolate. Maybe that will keep my chocolate lust under control... or not...
